Dear Members,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first meeting of the year at the Holiday Inn in Harrisburg. We had over forty people attend. I was very pleased to see some old friends and some new faces. The presentation on Insulation Applications and Technologies for Buildings and HVAC Systems was a great presentation and there was a lot of good participation from the audience.

I also want to remind everyone about the ASHRAE Winter Conference which will be held January 18 -22, 2014 in New York, NY. I would suggest to start booking reservations and registering now as most of the hotels tend to book early. Here is a direct link to register (ASHRAE Winter Meeting).

Our next meeting brings together Research Promotion Night, Past Presidents Night, and a presentation by Julian Rimmer, P.Eng, LEED AP, from Price Industries pertaining to Chilled Beams – Applications in Existing Building and Humidity Control. It will be held October 9th, 2013 at the Holiday Inn in Harrisburg again. I have listed below all of the past presidents since 1960 and ask that if you know any of them please persuade to attend the meeting. Also if you have any historical items related to Central PA ASHRAE please bring it along so we can put it on display.
